With only 5 ingredients total, this powerful dessert is quick and easy to make. It’s naturally sweetened so if you’re feeling a little daring, you may want to consider enjoying your ice cream with some dark chocolate chips. Maju's Superfood Banana Ice Cream Recipe

Cook: 15 mins
Total: 20 mins
Yield: 4 cups

 

Ingredients:

5 bananas, frozen, peels off
 
1/4 cup almond or coconut milk
 
1 Tbsp raw cacao nibs
 
1/2 Tbsp Maju Wheatgrass Juice Powder
 
1/2 Tsp Maju Camu Camu Powder


Instructions:


Step 1: Chop the bananas into ½ inch slices.
 
Step 2: Add half of the bananas to your food processor. Next add milk, raw cocoa nibs, and both superfood powders, then pulse.
 
Step 3: Add the rest of the bananas to the mixture and blend until smooth.  all other ingredients to your food processor, then pulse. Add the rest of the bananas and blend until smooth.
 
Step 4: (Optional) If it needs more liquid at any point (it will depend on the bananas), just add a little more milk until you reach your desired consistency.
 
Step 5: Scrape into a glass bowl, cover and freeze for 15 minutes or longer.
 
Step 6: Scoop and enjoy!
 
Pro Tip: Serve it with a couple extra cacao nibs, and maybe some chopped banana on top. If you’re feeling wild, add some dark chocolate chips!
