How To Make Sea Moss Gel: Five Easy Steps

Maju’s DIY Sea Moss Gummies

Prep: 10 mins
Cook: 10 mins + 1 hr to set
Total: 1 hr 20 mins
Yield: 150 gummies (quantity may vary depending on the molds used)

Ingredients:

1 Cup Maju Sea Moss Gel, prepared

½ Cup Manuka Honey (can also use regular honey or agave)

2 tsp Cinnamon, ground

1 tsp Cayenne Pepper, ground

¼ Cup Fresh Lemon Juice

2 Tbsp Agar-Agar (plant derived vegan gelatin, available on Amazon)

½ Cup Water

Other Helpful Tools:

Gummy Molds (available on Amazon)

Liquid Dropper for transferring mixture into molds (available on Amazon)

Instructions:

Step 1: Mix Agar Agar powder, lemon juice, and water together in medium saucepan.

Step 2: Bring mixture to a boil.

Step 3: Mix in honey, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper stirring until dissolved.

Step 4: Mix in sea moss gel stirring until dissolved.

Step 5: Once sea moss is dissolved, quickly transfer into gummy molds as Agar Agar sets very fast. If mixture is too thick, add more water until a workable consistency is reached.

Step 6: Transfer the gummy molds into the fridge for at least 1 hour to fully set.

Step 7: Once completely solidified, remove the gummies from the mold and transfer them to an airtight container.

Step 8: Store in the fridge for 2-3 weeks, or in the freezer for up to 3 months. If storing in the freezer, let thaw before consuming.

Step 9: Enjoy 2-3 gummies per day!
