You won’t regret it! This recipe combines the powerful benefits of black seed oil with the delicious taste of fresh lemonade and marries them together for a refreshing twist on this summer staple drink.

 

You might be thinking, "Gross! Black seed oil lemonade?" Sure, it's true black cumin oil is known for its distinct, peppery taste. However, citrus based drinks like orange juice or lemonade, actually make the best chasers or mixers for balancing out the natural flavor of this popular healing oil. 

 

If you don’t have a dropper or tincture, don’t fret! You can simply substitute with your liquid black seed oil and adjust the amount according to your preferred taste.

Maju’s Black Seed Oil Lemonade Recipe

Total time: 1 hr 10 mins
Yield: 4 cups

 

Ingredients:

4 cups filtered water
 

1/2 cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
 

2 Tbsp Manuka Honey (regular honey is also fine)
 

1/4 tsp Sea Salt
 

10-12 drops from Black Seed Oill Tincture Dropper

Fresh Mint (optional)
 

Instructions:

Step 1: In a large pitcher, combine water, lemon juice, honey, and sea salt.
 

Step 2: Stir well until the honey is completely dissolved.
 

Step 3: Add 10-12 drops from your black seed oil tincture dropper, stir again.
 

Step 4: Place pitcher in the refrigerator for at least one hour to chill before serving.
 

Step 5: Pour into glasses with ice cubes and if you’re feeling boujee, add a slice of lemon on the rim. Add in a few fresh mint leaves if desired.
 

Pro Tip: Pour some of your fresh lemonade into an ice cube tray and use these instead of regular ice cubes so your lemonade does not get watered down as the ice cubes melt!
