What is Oil of Oregano?
Oil of oregano derived from Origanum onites, also known as Cretan oregano or Turkish oregano, is obtained from the leaves and flowers of the Origanum onites plant. Origanum onites is a species of oregano native to the Mediterranean region, including parts of Turkey and Greece.
The oil extracted from Origanum onites contains various aromatic compounds, with carvacrol being one of the key constituents responsible for its potential wellness benefits.
Suggested Use
This mixture was designed to be consumable without further dilution, however its high potency and Carvacrol content may cause it to still feel spicy at first.
